Storekeeper

Job Summary
The Storekeeper will manage inventory effectively, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage and issuance of materials. The role also involves maintaining proper documentation and stock control in line with company policies and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and record incoming goods, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
- Arrange and store materials properly in designated storage areas.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using manual or automated systems.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure all stored items are properly labelled and tagged.
- Monitor stock levels and report low inventory or potential shortages to the supervisor.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness and security within the store.
- Prepare and issue store requisitions upon approval from the relevant authorities.
- Comply with company quality and hygiene standards for dairy products and materials.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of an OND in Store Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in storekeeping, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
- Knowledge of inventory control systems and stock management principles.
- Good organisational, communication and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
