Job Summary
The successful candidate will oversee media production, digital communications and content creation while supporting the ministry’s leadership with official driving duties. The role requires someone who can develop effective communication strategies, manage digital platforms, coordinate media activities and handle driving assignments responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organisation’s media and communications strategy.
- Manage social media platforms and improve digital engagement.
- Create engaging content through photography, videography, graphic design and video editing.
- Cover indoor and outdoor events for digital platforms and promotional purposes.
- Coordinate the media team and support its continued development.
- Oversee media activities for the organisation and its leadership.
- Drive the principal for official engagements, airport transfers and scheduled school runs.
- Undertake occasional travel and other relevant assignments.
- Ensure assigned vehicles are properly maintained.
Requirements and Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- At least one year of relevant experience in media and communications.
- An HND or bachelor’s degree is preferred, although practical skills and a strong portfolio will be prioritised.
- Proficiency in content creation, photography, videography, video editing and graphic design.
- A good understanding of social media strategy and digital communication.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- A valid driver’s licence and proven professional driving experience.
- Strong leadership, organisational and multitasking skills.
- The ability to work independently, take initiative and deliver results.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.
- Comfort working within a Christian ministry environment and participating in its activities.
- A trustworthy, creative, dependable and results-oriented attitude.
