The company is recruiting to fill the position of Chartered Accountant in Ogba, Lagos State.
Job Summary
The Chartered Accountant will oversee key financial activities, including financial reporting, auditing, tax compliance, budgeting, and forecasting. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports to support business operations and decision-making.
- Auditing and Compliance: Conduct financial checks, review accounting records, and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal procedures.
- Taxation: Manage tax computations, documentation, filings, and other tax-related obligations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring expenditure, analysing financial performance, and developing financial forecasts.
- Advisory Services: Provide financial advice and recommendations to management to improve cost control, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have studied Accounting.
- Must have completed and passed the ICAN examinations.
- Relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, auditing, taxation, and budgeting is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- High levels of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Work Schedule
- Working days: Monday to Saturday, including public holidays.
- Working hours: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
