Job Summary
Artwood FZE is recruiting to fill multiple positions for Woodworking Machine Operators specialising in Beam Saw, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) and Edge-Banding machines.
The successful candidates will be responsible for operating woodworking machinery, cutting and shaping board materials to specified dimensions, interpreting technical drawings and ensuring finished products meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate beam saw, CNC and edge-banding machines.
- Cut, shape and finish board materials according to specified sizes and designs.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards.
- Keep machines clean, safe and properly maintained.
- Promptly report machine faults and operational issues.
- Observe workshop safety procedures and regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ hands-on experience operating beam saw, CNC or edge-banding machines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet production deadlines.
- Technical training or a relevant trade certificate is an added advantage.
