Position: Medical Laboratory Scientist
Location: Primary Healthcare Centers across Oyo State
Job Summary:
Render Health is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic hematology tests and other laboratory procedures to support clinical decision-making in primary healthcare settings. This role plays a critical part in enhancing the quality and efficiency of laboratory services within public health facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and specialized hematological tests using approved laboratory equipment.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standard protocols.
- Collect, process, and analyze biological specimens in compliance with established guidelines.
- Accurately document and report test results while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate timely and accurate diagnoses.
- Ensure the laboratory environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Valid registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Demonstrated proficiency in hematology and general laboratory techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a clinical or primary healthcare laboratory setting is preferred.
