Job Summary
The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with financial reporting, reconciliations, tax compliance, and month-end closing processes while ensuring all financial transactions comply with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable and reconcile invoices.
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company policies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance, including FIRS and LIRS requirements.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2–3 years of accounting or finance experience (internships included).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of GAAP and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Experience in e-commerce or auditing is an added advantage.
Salary
₦250,000 per month (Performance-driven with opportunities for career growth).
