Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing commercial data, preparing management reports, and providing business insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Power Query, formulas, dashboards, and data automation.
• Develop management reports, dashboards, and analytical reports to support business decisions.
• Prepare commercial presentations for Management, Executive Committee (EXCO), and Board reviews.
• Develop accurate sales forecasts using historical data and market intelligence.
• Support annual budgeting, sales target allocation, and commercial planning activities.
• Monitor sales performance against targets and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyse inventory movement, stock ageing, stock availability, and recommend replenishment plans.
• Conduct market trend analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer performance reviews.
• Convert commercial data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions.
• Support FMCG commercial operations, including distributor management, pricing, and trade execution.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, management, and cross-functional teams while demonstrating effective negotiation skills.
• Utilise ERP systems for sales reporting, inventory management, and commercial operations.
• Develop business presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Provide insights on sales performance, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial planning.
• Use sales data, inventory trends, and customer insights to improve business performance.
• Drive operational efficiency and business growth through effective ERP utilisation and commercial analysis.

Requirements

Candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Data Analyst.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills.
• Sound knowledge of ERP systems.
