Job Description
The Sector Lead will be responsible for leading sector coverage, developing and managing quality customer relationships, originating business opportunities, structuring credit and trade transactions, and driving deposit and revenue growth.
The role will also involve coordinating internal approvals, monitoring portfolio performance, and ensuring compliance with credit, risk, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sector coverage activities for Oil & Gas and Precious Metal businesses.
- Originate and manage quality customer relationships.
- Structure credit and trade finance transactions.
- Drive deposit mobilisation and revenue growth.
- Coordinate internal approval processes.
- Monitor portfolio performance and risk exposure.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies, regulatory standards, and risk requirements.
- Provide sector insights and support business growth strategies.
Requirements
Minimum Educational & Professional Qualifications
- HND or BSc Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Agriculture, or related fields.
- 5 – 8 years’ banking or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sector relationship management or structured finance.
- Professional qualification is an added advantage.
