Job Summary
SLB is recruiting a Completions Field Supervisor / Senior Specialist to oversee the preparation, execution, and optimisation of completion operations. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality service delivery, provide technical leadership, troubleshoot field challenges, and mentor junior personnel while maintaining the highest safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive and coordinate completion equipment preparation.
- Prepare completion programmes and conduct technical reviews.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure service quality.
- Perform job analysis and close-out reporting.
- Mentor and develop junior field personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of five (5) years of completions experience.
- Experience supervising at least 10 completion installations.
- Hands-on experience with lower completions, including:
- Surface-controlled subsurface safety valves (SAS)
- Cased-hole and open-hole gravel pack operations
- Formation isolation valves
- Experience with upper completions, including:
- Single and dual-string completions
- Safety valves
- Packers
- Intervention operations
- Experience with liner hanger installations, including:
- Cemented and uncemented liners
- Polish mills
- Tieback installations
- Experience with permanent downhole gauges and intelligent completions.
- Experience redressing completion equipment.
- Knowledge of downhole hydraulics, tubular design, and engineering analysis simulations.
- Experience working in land, swamp, offshore, and deep-water environments.
- Strong commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
