Cen Global Services Limited is recruiting a qualified and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the effective management, maintenance, and operation of company and client-managed facilities. The successful candidate will coordinate maintenance activities, supervise contractors and vendors, ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, and deliver high-quality facility management services.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day management and maintenance of company and client facilities.
- Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well maintained.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
- Monitor facility operations and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Respond promptly to facility-related issues and coordinate timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, asset registers, and facility reports.
- Support the planning and execution of facility improvement projects.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Estate Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), such as Facility Management Professional (FMP) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM).
- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in facility management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance practices, and asset management.
- Excellent vendor, contractor, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Applicants residing in Port Harcourt or its environs will be given priority.
