About the Position
PKF Nigeria is seeking experienced Tax Seniors to join its Tax Department in Lagos. The successful candidates will work as part of the tax team, handling client portfolios and assignments while providing tax compliance and consulting services to corporate and individual clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the tax team handling client portfolios and assignments.
- Provide tax compliance and consulting services to corporate and individual clients.
- Identify complex tax issues and provide tax scrutiny for a variety of entities and their affiliates.
- Research and analyse a wide range of tax issues relating to business transactions and the tax implications of financing techniques for various entities and their affiliates.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a tax accounting or commercial accounting role, with significant exposure to tax matters.
- Experience in tax compliance and liaising with revenue authorities.
- Experience with goods and services tax or value-added tax (VAT) and payroll taxes.
- Experience in tax consulting, preparation of tax advice and tax planning.
- Degree in Accounting or a relevant field.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Professional, reliable, proactive and flexible.
- ACA, ACCA or CITN certification is mandatory.
