The company is recruiting a PMC (Production and Material Control) Officer to coordinate production planning and ensure the timely availability of raw and packaging materials for uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update daily and weekly production schedules in alignment with stock levels.
- Ensure adequate supply and timely issuance of raw and packaging materials to the production floor.
- Prepare and maintain Material Requirement Plans (MRP) for all production SKUs.
- Monitor and document material consumption, returns and wastage, ensuring accurate reconciliation with warehouse records.
- Track batch production progress and promptly communicate deviations or delays to management.
- Assist in planning and implementing product changeovers to minimise downtime and prevent material mix-ups.
- Maintain accurate production and material usage reports and submit daily and weekly summaries to the Plant Manager.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure materials meet quality and hygiene standards before use in production.
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and recommend optimal reorder points for high-use materials.
- Support lean manufacturing and cost-control measures to improve material efficiency.
- Participate in cycle counts and weekly and monthly stock audits with warehouse and finance teams.
- Liaise with maintenance and production supervisors to ensure machines and materials are ready for scheduled production runs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste, downtime and lead time.
- Supervise and coordinate production activities and warehouse support staff to ensure timely material flow and adherence to production schedules.
- Ensure proper space management, cleanliness and orderly arrangement of the production floor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in production planning, materials control or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong analytical, organisational and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred age range of 25–30 years.
- Must reside within Ibeju-Lekki or its environs.
