Job Summary
The Maintenance / Facility Supervisor will oversee daily maintenance operations, supervise maintenance personnel and contractors, and ensure hotel equipment and facilities remain safe, functional and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors.
- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Inspect equipment and facilities and identify maintenance needs.
- Coordinate repairs of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders and equipment history.
- Monitor spare parts, tools and maintenance supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Train and evaluate maintenance personnel.
- Coordinate with operations teams to minimise equipment downtime.
- Assist with maintenance budgets and cost control.
- Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective measures.
- Recommend improvements to equipment reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ maintenance experience, including supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance and CMMS.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals and schematics.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and maintenance systems.
