Job Description
The school is seeking a passionate and skilled Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction and help primary school pupils develop strong numeracy, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Mathematics lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
- Develop pupils’ numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Assess, record, and report on pupil progress using appropriate assessment methods.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and teaching resources.
- Participate in school meetings, training programmes, and extracurricular activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding pupil progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualification such as PGDE/NCE is an advantage.
- Experience teaching Mathematics in a reputable school.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to pupil success.
