Job Description
Sundry Foods Limited is recruiting a Catering Management Trainee to support the effective management of catering operations in Abuja. The successful candidate will assist with shift management, food production, customer service, inventory control and crew supervision while ensuring compliance with the company’s operational and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage shifts, including daily decision-making, scheduling and planning, while upholding operational standards, product quality and cleanliness.
- Manage the food production process and ensure food products meet the company’s quality standards.
- Monitor and manage customers’ dining experiences.
- Supervise and manage canteen crew.
- Support product and recipe development.
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and lobby areas.
- Manage restaurant inventory to minimise losses, waste and stock-outs.
- Manage relationships with client representatives to foster a harmonious working environment.
Requirements
- BSc or HND in a relevant discipline.
- Culinary skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Inventory management skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Leadership abilities.
