Responsibilities
- Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by doctors.
- Monitor patients’ drug therapies, advise on interventions, and provide information about potential side effects.
- Instruct patients on how and when to take prescribed medications.
- Conduct health and wellness screenings.
- Provide immunisations and other medical services, including checking blood pressure, temperature, and blood sugar levels.
- Maintain accurate patient records on the EMR.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment in the pharmacy.
- Verify order entries and maintain records of controlled substances and pharmacy charges.
- Remove expired or damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a relevant qualification.
- 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical practice and applicable regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
