Job Summary
The HR Recruiting Coordinator Intern will support Talent Acquisition initiatives by assisting with candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, recruitment administration, and hiring processes. The role contributes to attracting, evaluating, and onboarding qualified candidates while helping to provide a smooth recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of the hiring process for new recruits, including pre-employment screening, travel, and relocation.
- Assist with coordinating career fairs and university engagements.
- Maintain recruitment requisition and advertising databases.
- Maintain new employee files and Human Resources records.
- Organise logistics for assessment sessions.
- Participate in continuous improvement and employee engagement initiatives.
- Communicate with candidates regarding application status and queries.
- Maintain a good understanding of Talent Acquisition and HR issues.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection guidelines and relevant legislation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Recent graduate with no more than 2 years post-graduation experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to learn quickly and translate learning into practical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative.
- Must have completed NYSC.
