Job Description
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for inspecting, repairing and maintaining HVAC, air quality control and refrigeration equipment. The role also involves maintaining mechanical plant systems, monitoring property temperature and supporting electrical, plumbing, pool and spa maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair and maintain HVAC, air quality control and refrigeration equipment.
- Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of the mechanical plant.
- Monitor and control property temperature.
- Monitor and analyse energy and utilities usage.
- Calibrate controls, gauges, meters and other equipment.
- Assemble, install, test, repair and maintain electrical systems and electronic wiring.
- Assemble, install and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves and related equipment.
- Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
- Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents and injuries.
- Follow company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
- Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and respond appropriately to their service needs.
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Identify and recommend ways to improve organisational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety and cost savings.
- Perform physical duties including working in confined or elevated spaces, climbing stairs, ramps and ladders, and moving across uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling objects as required.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical, Trade or Vocational School Degree.
- At least 3 years of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- HVAC Certification.
