Job Title: Graduate Trainee – Mechanical
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract
Role Overview
The Graduate Trainee will support the design of mechanical systems and equipment for industrial and construction projects, including piping, HVAC, and static and rotating equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with mechanical equipment sizing, selection and specification.
- Support the preparation of piping layouts, P&IDs and mechanical drawings.
- Assist with HVAC and utility system design as required.
- Support design coordination and technical documentation.
Requirements
- B.Eng or B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) or equivalent.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar design software is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- COREN registration in view is an advantage.
