Position: Logistics Manager
Location: Akobo, Ibadan, Oyo State
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all logistics and distribution activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing supply chain processes and managing inventory effectively.
- Lead and mentor the logistics team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Utilize logistics software and systems to monitor and manage transportation, inventory, and warehouse operations.
- Analyze and resolve logistical challenges, providing innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients, negotiating terms and ensuring service excellence.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on logistics performance and key metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record in successful distribution and logistics management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, including inventory management and transportation planning.
