Responsibilities
- Engage in negotiating Power Systems product sales for high-value projects by highlighting their technical capabilities.
- Provide professional technical input to support the achievement of Power Systems sales targets.
- Promote Power Systems as a centre of excellence by demonstrating value to the business and customers.
- Provide technical advice to customers, including load assessment, expansion forecasting, genset site surveys, genset sizing and power distribution system design.
- Support customers through the purchase, installation and commissioning of Power Systems products.
- Prepare and submit technical quotations for Power Systems products and installation requirements.
- Supervise the installation of Power Systems products to ensure compliance with international standards and specifications.
- Inform potential customers about Caterpillar’s range of Power Systems products and promote them as a complete product support package.
- Provide technical support to the Regional Sales team in bids for Power Systems product sales.
- Liaise with Field Service representatives to initiate and execute Contract Service Maintenance agreements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager.

The role involves interaction with:
- Managing Directors, Chief Engineers, Technical Directors and Project Managers of major accounts in Nigeria.
- Technical management teams of oil and associated companies.
- Design Engineers and Consultants.
- Employees across all levels of Mantrac Nigeria Ltd.
Requirements
- B.Sc., B.Eng. or HND in Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
- At least three (3) years of relevant work experience.
Work Environment
The position may involve extensive travelling by road and air, with associated risks of accidents.
