Tincan Island Container Terminal Limited (TICT), established in 2004, is a multinational company operating in Nigeria, with its terminal located at Tin-can Island Port, Terminal B (2nd Gate), Apapa, Lagos, and its Head Office at 1/3 Point Road, Apapa, Lagos. Following a competitive bidding process, TICT emerged as the concessionaire of Terminal B, Tincan Island Port. With a long-term lease agreement with the Federal Government of Nigeria and a commitment to continued investment in port development, the company aims to strengthen its position as a key industry player within the African sub-region.
Job Summary
- TICT is seeking young, intelligent and technically driven graduates in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to join its Management Trainee Programme.
- The ideal candidates should demonstrate strong academic performance, sound technical aptitude, quick thinking, innovative thinking and a strong willingness to learn and develop.
- The programme is designed for high-potential graduates who can learn quickly in a fast-paced technical environment and contribute to operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated capabilities beyond their academic background, particularly in Microsoft Excel, AI tools, data analysis, digital applications or other relevant skills.
Minimum Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of Second Class Upper or Upper Credit, as applicable.
- Must not be more than 28 years old.
- Candidates should be bright, innovative and high-potential graduates who are ready to learn, grow and make an impact.
Candidate Profile
- Young, sharp-minded, proactive and adaptable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and learning abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant digital tools.
- Knowledge of AI tools and data analysis is an added advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Open to both male and female candidates.
