Role Overview:

As an Accountant at ITH Trading Partner Ltd., you will be responsible for:

Account closing and financial report preparation
Taxation and internal control system follow-ups
Account coding & encoding, account receivable, payment authorization, tax filing, and audit coordination
Gathering, reviewing, analyzing, and presenting financial and non-financial information from various sources
Reporting directly to the Managing Director

Responsibilities:

Preparing balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Coordinating internal control activities across the business to ensure revenue sustenance
Understanding and calculating cost production in line with national legislation
Ensuring accuracy and compliance of financial documents with laws and regulations
Preparing tax returns and ensuring timely tax payments
Evaluating financial operations to recommend best practices, identify issues, and strategize solutions
Offering guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization
Conducting forecasting and risk analysis assessments
Performing other duties to enhance profitability, productivity, and company sustainability

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
ACCA or ACA, CFA certification is an added advantage
Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in a financial reporting role within an Import/Export firm
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools
Strong presentation skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook, and MS Project
