Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

• Location: Sagamu, Ogun
• Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Attend to routine mechanical problems.
• Maintain spare assemblies and ensure they are readily available.
• Coordinate with the section in-charge and provide feedback on daily activities and operational problems.
• Attend daily meetings.
• Ensure downtime is reduced.
• Undertake why-why analysis whenever downtime occurs.
• Promote a culture of quality, environmental responsibility, health and safety, as well as compliance with other applicable management system requirements.
• Develop, implement and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the IMS.
• Train employees on the IMS and its requirements.
• Continually pursue new developments and initiatives to improve plant safety and environmental performance.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Candidates should have 5–8 years of relevant experience.
