Salary: N150,000 – N185,000 monthly

Summary

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our fast food restaurant.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will help oversee staff performance, customer satisfaction, inventory and compliance with operational standards. The role is vital to ensuring smooth, efficient and profitable restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Outlet Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
  • Supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company standards.
  • Train, coach and motivate team members to achieve performance targets.
  • Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality and hygiene standards.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
  • Assist with scheduling, shift planning and attendance management.
  • Enforce health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organised dining and kitchen environment.
  • Support sales goals through upselling and promotions.
  • Generate and submit reports on sales, expenses and staff performance.
  • Stand in for the Outlet Manager when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND, HND or B.Sc. in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a fast food or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
  • Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must reside in Ilorin.
