Description

The Cost Estimating Lead will provide oversight and supervision for cost estimate preparation, quality assurance reviews, project costing, scheduling, and cost-control activities across project milestones.

The role will also support process improvements and provide leadership and consulting to the Estimating Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Project Management Team to resolve project-related issues.
• Participate in project meetings and discussions with internal teams and external clients.
• Prepare and review project costing reports for management.
• Provide cost control and planning advice to the Project Management Team.
• Support cost estimate preparation, verification, and quality assurance reviews.
• Contribute to improvements in estimating processes, tools, and quality assurance practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a closely related position and/or cost and schedule estimating.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• Strong project cost planning, scheduling, and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical, consulting, mentoring, and computing skills.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry is required.
