Job Description
The Artificial Lift Field Specialist is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient and reliable product and service delivery to customers.
The successful candidate will identify opportunities to improve service delivery, implement standard work practices and manage risks during service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Artificial Lift equipment and tools for field operations.
- Participate in pre-job readiness activities, including CWOP, site visits and job briefs.
- Supervise the field installation of Artificial Lift equipment.
- Set up and commission Variable Speed Drives (VSDs).
- Troubleshoot and repair surface equipment, including VSDs, switchboards and transformers.
- Accurately capture field data and ensure job deliverables are completed and submitted on time.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to team members.
- Lead job risk analysis and continuous improvement programmes.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards by implementing CAT, self-assessments and wellsite inspections.
- Participate in service quality reviews with stakeholders and improve performance through action plans.
- Participate in and observe HSE policies and quality initiatives.
- Maintain the required safety and technical training.
Requirements
- Diploma or HND in a Technical, Engineering or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience leading Artificial Lift operations, including field installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of ESPs, ESPCPs, HPS and VSDs.
- Experience with complex ESP installations, including Y-tool, shrouds, PODs and Dual ESP systems.
- Experience providing innovative and adaptive technical solutions and support to customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a team-player mentality.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment.
