About the Programme
The Chivita Hollandia Sales Trainee Programme is designed to develop future commercial leaders for the FMCG industry. The programme provides participants with hands-on exposure to consumers, distributors and retail partners.
This is an active, field-based and market-facing opportunity rather than an office-based desk role.
Role Overview
Sales Trainees will represent the business within assigned territories, working closely with distributors, wholesalers, golden outlets, neighbourhood stores and other retail outlets to drive product availability, visibility and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance across the assigned territory.
- Manage and support distributor and field sales teams.
- Ensure product availability, visibility and distribution coverage.
- Conduct daily field visits and structured performance reviews.
- Coach and support sales representatives in the field.
- Track competitor activities and market trends.
- Use digital sales tools to monitor execution and performance.
Work Schedule & Environment
- Work days are Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday requirements.
- Saturday activities may include last-mile reconciliation, field operations, inventory management, alignment meetings or training.
- Field activities may start as early as 7:30 AM.
- Approximately 80%–90% of the work week will be spent within the assigned territory rather than behind a desk.
