Job Description
Halliburton is seeking a Tech Prof-Completions, Sr to provide technical expertise in Completion, Products & Services (CPS) job design, well support and post-job analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, Business Development and Operations teams while providing technical support and interpreting well-site data using advanced technologies.
Job Duties
- Provide Completion, Products & Services (CPS) job design, well support and post-job analysis to customers within the designated area.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with the technical customer base.
- Provide technical support at the well site when required by the customer or Product Service Line (PSL).
- Interpret well-site data in real time using complex technologies, including software simulators and advanced electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Perform calculations and modelling to support technical operations.
- Resolve on-the-spot technical issues remotely and, when required, at the well site.
- Work independently and apply professional experience to assigned technical responsibilities.
- Serve as a communication link between customers, Business Development and Operations.
- Develop and mentor Associate Technical Professionals and Technical Professionals.
- Apply sound technical judgement to support safe and effective completion operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent undergraduate degree in an acceptable discipline.
- Acceptable fields include:
- Engineering
- Engineering Technology
- Geology
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve technical problems effectively.
- Experience with well-site data interpretation and technical modelling is an advantage.
- Certification as a Licensed or Chartered Professional Engineer is preferred.
