Job Summary

First Bank is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, performance management and strategic decision-making across business units.

Responsibilities

Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for business units.
Conduct financial, variance and trend analysis to assess business performance.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports.
Develop financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives.
Identify and track KPIs in line with business objectives.
Prepare customer profitability analysis and business performance scorecards.
Cascade business unit budgets to relevant teams and relationship managers.
Generate and communicate performance scorecards to end-users.
Facilitate performance reviews, training sessions and performance dialogues.
Work with Finance, IT, Risk and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies and regulatory requirements.
Participate in special assignments and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

First Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Science, Engineering or a related field.
Master’s Degree or professional certification such as ACA, CIBN or similar qualification.
Minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience in MIS, Finance, Accounting, Forecasting or Budgeting.
Experience in Management Information Systems (MIS).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL and leading analytics tools.
Strong financial analysis, reporting and performance management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information securely.
