Job Summary

Talenture Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Intern to support internal recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, and HR administration activities across its brands. This role offers valuable exposure to the full employee lifecycle and provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or NYSC members looking to build a career in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Recruitment & Talent Resourcing

  • Draft and update job descriptions based on hiring requirements.
  • Post job vacancies on job boards, career portals, and social media platforms.
  • Screen CVs, verify candidate information, and shortlist qualified applicants.
  • Conduct initial candidate qualification and outreach calls.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, logistics, reminders, and follow-up activities.
  • Carry out background checks, reference checks, and verification processes.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and recruitment dashboards.
  • Support offer preparation, including salary discussions and contract documentation.
  • Develop and maintain structured talent pools across key disciplines.
  • Assist with recruitment reporting and KPI tracking.

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees across Talenture brands.
  • Ensure work tools, system access, induction materials, and workspaces are ready before employee resumption.
  • Monitor probation reviews, confirmations, and employee lifecycle milestones.
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation.
  • Support HMO, pension, and group life insurance registration processes.
  • Assist with employee exit procedures, documentation, and asset recovery.

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate bi-weekly internal training programmes.
  • Organise training schedules, materials, and participant logistics.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and observations.
  • Coordinate daily Kick-Start sessions and training video activities across the group.

HR Administration & Process Support

  • Maintain accurate staff records, HR databases, and digital filing systems.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, newsletters, and internal events.
  • Assist with HR policy implementation, reporting, and compliance activities.
  • Draft HR documents such as letters, memos, and notices for review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Personnel Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Industrial and Labour Relations, Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, or a related field.
  • Must be a current NYSC corps member or have recently completed NYSC.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
  • Demonstrated interest in recruitment, talent resourcing, and HR operations.
