Fellowship Duration
The fellowship lasts 3-6 months, ideally full-time but part-time arrangements may be considered under certain circumstances.
Areas of Focus
As a Product & Tech Fellow, you can contribute to one or more of the following areas:
- Product Management: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, for solutions addressing African challenges. Develop product strategies, conduct market research, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products.
- Frontend Engineering: Build intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our portfolio companies using modern frameworks like React and TypeScript.
- UI/UX Design: Design user-centered solutions and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
- Graphic Design: Create visually compelling designs for digital and print mediums, enhancing brand identities across our portfolio.
Who We Are Looking For
- Accomplished product and tech professionals with at least 4 years of experience in fields such as product management, software engineering, UI/UX design, or graphic design.
- Proven success and leadership in their respective areas.
- A deep passion for product development, technology, innovation, and the transformative potential of startups in Africa.
- Strong technical or product management skills combined with excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication abilities.
- A commitment to contributing to Africa’s technological and product development, with a desire to apply your skills in a venture capital context.
