Job Description
SANY Nigeria is recruiting Service Engineers with proven hands-on technical expertise in the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty equipment.
The available positions are as follows:
- Lagos: 1 Crane Expert, 1 Excavator Expert, 1 Pump Truck Expert.
- Port Harcourt: 1 Crane Expert, 1 Excavator Expert.
- Kano: 2 Excavator Experts, 2 Crane Experts, 2 Road Roller Experts.
Role Overview
As a Service Engineer at SANY Nigeria, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive after-sales support, including installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and complex troubleshooting for these machines to ensure optimal performance.
Candidates must possess a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, with 3–5 years of specialised field service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and commission various SANY products according to manufacturer’s specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct thorough testing and commissioning procedures to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and extend equipment life.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Execute timely repairs and replacements of faulty components.
- Provide expert technical support to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Offer guidance on product usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Respond to service calls and conduct on-site inspections to assess equipment condition.
- Collaborate with customers to schedule and coordinate service visits.
- Maintain accurate and detailed service records, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and inspection findings.
- Generate comprehensive reports on equipment performance, service history, and potential improvement areas.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in field service and equipment maintenance.
- Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
