Job Title: Electrical Crane Technician

Job Summary
The Electrical Crane Technician will be responsible for electrical maintenance of cranes, including routine inspections, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out crane repairs and maintenance according to OEM specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults.
- Request and collect spare parts required for repairs.
- Prepare work progress and completion reports.
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Attend safety training and other required training programmes.
- Work with technicians and supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
- Support the induction of new team members.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
- HSE Level 1 Certification.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and engineering automation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good communication, organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of crane operations and preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ability to work at heights and under pressure.
- Physical stamina, teamwork, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
