Job Summary
CoreHR Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a client in the travel and tourism industry for the position of Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, payroll, statutory compliance, account reconciliations, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance with Nigerian financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage invoicing and receivables using Zoho Books.
- Prepare monthly revenue and management reports.
- Process payroll and verify beneficiary details before payment.
- Handle PAYE, pension, NSITF, LIRS, and other statutory obligations.
- Reconcile accounts, monitor expenses, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Identify and promptly report payment, reconciliation, or reporting issues.
Requirements
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent), or a finance graduate with strong practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience, preferably in a service-based business.
- Proficiency in Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
- Good understanding of Nigerian tax regulations and statutory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and financial reporting skills.
- Experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry is an added advantage.
