Job Description
Ritzman Smarthomes and Automations Ltd is seeking a qualified Accountant to oversee the company’s daily financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing monthly reports and supporting financial decision-making.
The role will also involve budgeting and forecasting, reconciling financial discrepancies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and supporting financial audits. The Accountant will collaborate with other departments and provide financial insights to support the company’s operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare monthly financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and accounts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and laws.
- Support internal and external financial audits.
- Analyse financial data and provide useful insights for decision-making.
- Work closely with other departments on financial matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- At least 1 year of work experience in Accounting.
- Good knowledge of financial accounting, bookkeeping and budgeting.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, data analysis and forecasting.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good time-management skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and financial laws.
- Professional certification such as ICAN is an added advantage.
- Experience in the technology or renewable energy sector is an advantage.
