Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accountant who will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting management with accurate financial information for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory obligations.
- Process payroll and other financial transactions.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Monitor company expenditures and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Generate financial reports for management decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Sound knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and cash flow management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- ICAN or ACCA certification (or being at an advanced stage of either qualification) will be an added advantage.
