Job Summary
ICS Outsourcing Nigeria Limited is recruiting an Accountant Officer to manage daily accounting operations and support financial reporting, compliance, and audit activities.
Responsibilities
- Post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
- Prepare invoices and process payments.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor cash flow and provide accurate financial information.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger management, bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and financial statements.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- ICAN, ACCA, or progress toward professional certification is an added advantage.
- Relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in a corporate or outsourcing environment, will be beneficial.
