Charterhouse Lagos is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Admissions Intern to support its Admissions Team in student recruitment and enrolment processes. This role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in education administration, student services, admissions and marketing within a dynamic school environment.
Job Description
Reporting to: Admissions Manager
Department: Communication, Admissions and Marketing
The Admissions Intern will support the admissions team with student applications, prospective parent engagement, admissions events, record management and general administrative activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Psychology or a related field.
- Recent graduate with 0–2 years of experience in business development, field sales, customer service or outreach, preferably in an educational setting.
Desirable:
- Experience in the education sector or familiarity with private school operations.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities
1. Data Entry
- Assist with processing student applications, including data entry, file management and document verification.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the admissions database.
2. Prospective Parent Engagement
- Support the planning and coordination of admissions events, including school tours, assessments and interviews.
- Prepare admissions packets and materials for prospective students and families.
- Conduct follow-up calls or emails to prospective applicants under the guidance of admissions staff.
3. Admissions Office Support
- Support the Admissions Team at internal and external events as required.
- Participate in approximately 8–10 Saturdays per year and occasional evening activities.
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
4. Personal Development
- Gain practical experience in school admissions and enrolment processes.
- Develop administrative and communication skills in an educational setting.
- Network with professionals in the education sector.
