Raku General Ventures, an operational and industrial support services company in Nigeria, is recruiting a qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Assistant Utility Manager in Sagamu, Ogun State.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily shift operations of utility-related equipment.
- Respond promptly to utility-related emergencies, troubleshoot faults and implement solutions to minimise downtime and operational disruptions.
- Interpret and apply blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Operate and maintain chillers, including YORK and Thermax Vapour Absorption Machines (VAM), and their control systems.
- Operate and maintain air compressors and air dryers.
- Manage the operation and maintenance of water treatment plants and their associated chemicals.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fresh Air Units (FAUs) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs).
- Prepare daily reports and maintain equipment operational data.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all critical equipment in line with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommendations.
- Maintain discipline, improve staff skills and motivate subordinates.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Section Head – Utility.
- Support the operation and maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs), Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) and Water Treatment Plants (WTPs).
