Job Title: Assistant Warehouse Manager
Location: Sagamu, Ogun State
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensure that all finished goods in stock are well organised and correctly stored, well protected, fully identified, and easily accessible (cleanliness, security, access, etc.).
- Ensure that immediately after receipt or dispatch of goods, stock cards are updated and/or created for all Raw & Pack and Finished Goods on the company’s ERP system.
- Perform physical stock counts according to the predefined schedule as part of internal controls over wrong issues, pilferage, etc., and prepare stock reports.
- Ensure finished goods are dispatched according to orders received.
- Ensure the FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principle is followed during the issuance and dispatch of goods.
- Reconcile stock movement with the production team.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of warehouse management practices.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Comply with all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and standards.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- A First Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 7 years’ experience in warehouse operations.
- Experience working with an ERP system (preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Good communication skills.
