Job Description
The school is seeking a dedicated, passionate, and well-organised Class Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and support the academic and personal development of pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across subjects in line with the school curriculum.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Monitor pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, performance, and behaviour.
- Assess pupils’ progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding pupil progress and concerns.
- Provide pastoral care and serve as a positive role model.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities and events.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Participate in continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualification such as PGDE/NCE and TRCN certification.
- Experience in a similar role within a reputable school.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to pupil development.
