Job Title: Compliance Manager
Location: Head Office

Reports to: Head, Risk & Compliance
Direct Reports: Compliance Associate

Job Purpose

Ensure full compliance of Food Concept PLC’s operations with national and international laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) sector.

Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas

• Develop and implement regulatory compliance strategies across departments.
• Monitor regulatory testing requirements and submissions.
• Ensure all company products meet federal, state, and regional regulations.
• Provide specialized advice on regulatory compliance matters.
• Investigate and resolve compliance-related complaints.
• Educate and train staff on compliance standards.
• Communicate compliance issues across the organization.
• Manage crisis situations and compliance violations.

Key Performance Indicators

• Compliance rate with applicable regulations.
• Successful awareness and implementation of evolving regulatory changes.

Knowledge Requirements

• Understanding of legislative changes impacting the Food Industry.
• Fundamentals of Accounting.
• Knowledge of Risk & Compliance standards.
• Familiarity with legal standards and company policies.
• Reporting procedures and record keeping.
• QSR/Food Industry practices.

Job Specifications

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).

Professional Requirements:

• Membership in ICAN, CIS, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or related professional body.
• Certifications in compliance (advantageous).

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5-6 years in a similar role, particularly in QSR/FMCG sectors.

Decision Expectations

• Act on defined procedures and decisions.
• Enforce agreed decisions.
• Provide specialist advice on compliance matters.

Working Conditions

• Typically 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend or evening work.
• Office and field-based role, may require travel to multiple company sites.
