Job Description

Kimeric Nigeria Limited is seeking a Cost / Schedule / Controls Engineer to join its team in Nigeria.

The successful candidate will support cost estimate preparation, project scheduling, cost controls, quality assurance reviews, and project reporting activities across various project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cost estimate preparation and quality assurance reviews.
• Prepare Check Estimates and Schedules for comparison with operator-prepared submissions.
• Participate in project cost and schedule assessments.
• Maintain change control and cost reports.
• Work closely with project estimators, planners, schedulers, and Client accounting teams.
• Coordinate and compile monthly progress reports.
• Collaborate with the Client’s Project Manager and team leads on accounting and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to improvements in estimating processes, efficiency tools, and quality assurance practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Previous experience in a closely related position.
• Advanced proficiency in Cost Estimating, Project Planning, and Project Controls.
• Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong ability to organise, plan, control, coordinate, and manage cross-functional activities.
• Ability to negotiate and develop effective solutions among internal stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry is required.
