Job Summary
The Credit Risk Analyst will assess and manage credit risks relating to investments, loans and counterparties to support sound financial decision-making and protect company capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed credit analysis, financial modelling and ratio analysis.
- Develop and monitor credit risk models and portfolio exposure.
- Prepare risk reports and present findings to management.
- Monitor macroeconomic and regulatory trends affecting credit risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics or a related field.
- Master’s Degree or certifications such as FRM, CFA or ICAN is an advantage.
- 3–5 years’ experience in credit risk analysis, preferably in banking or investment.
- Strong financial modelling, Excel and data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of Python or R is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of credit risk frameworks and Nigerian regulations.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Salary
N700,000 – N900,000 monthly.
