The airline is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Crew Scheduler.
Job Summary
The Crew Scheduler will be responsible for preparing and maintaining flight crew rosters, ensuring adequate crew coverage for scheduled operations and monitoring compliance with applicable crew duty, rest and Flight Time Limitation (FTL) requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, update and maintain flight crew rosters in line with the approved flight schedule and available crew resources.
- Monitor crew availability, qualifications, licence validity and other requirements necessary for flight assignments.
- Ensure crew assignments comply with applicable Flight Time Limitations (FTL), duty periods and rest requirements.
- Coordinate crew replacements, roster adjustments and operational changes with Crew Control, the Operations Control Centre and other relevant departments.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution.
- Relevant experience in crew scheduling, airline operations or a related aviation role will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in computer applications and the ability to work with crew scheduling systems.
- Strong organisational, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work shifts, manage time-sensitive assignments and respond effectively to operational changes.
