The company is recruiting a Diesel Mechanic to support the effective maintenance and operation of diesel and gas generators at its factory in Apapa, Lagos, ensuring reliable power generation and efficient equipment performance.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair all diesel and gas generators in the factory.
• Operate all diesel and gas generators in the factory.
• Operate main distribution panels for power changeovers.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on installed generators to prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment supporting generator operations.
• Inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect operating issues.
• Perform efficient troubleshooting and fault finding on machinery and equipment.
• Document maintenance parameters to support plant improvement.

Requirements

• Five O’ Level credits, including Mathematics and English, in not more than two sittings.
• Alternatively, NABTEB, City & Guilds or WAEC Technical certification.
• Minimum of two years’ cognate experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good knowledge of maintenance management processes, corrosion prevention techniques, pneumatics and conveyor systems.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
• Ability to efficiently plan and execute maintenance schedules.
