Job Summary
Pinnacle Oil & Gas Ltd is seeking a responsible and organised Dispatch Officer to join its team at the Warri Terminal. The successful candidate will oversee the dispatch of loaded trucks, ensure all required checks are completed before trucks leave the terminal, issue loading tickets and other necessary documents, and maintain accurate dispatch records.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the dispatch of all loaded trucks, ensuring schedules are met and deliveries are completed within customers’ expected delivery times.
- Issue loading tickets, waybills and other required dispatch documents accurately to loaded trucks.
- Prepare daily truck-out and dispatch reports for management and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate stock records and reconcile daily product movements.
- Ensure stock records are aligned with ERP or depot systems and stock officers.
- Ensure all dispatch activities comply with operational controls, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support the planning and execution of operations relating to product loading and timely dispatches to retail outlets.
- Liaise with third-party throughput customers to ensure their customer waybills are issued and reconciled daily.
Requirements
- BA/BSc/HND degree.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Computer literacy.
- Previous experience in logistics, dispatch or a related role is relevant to the position.
