Greensprings School is inviting qualified and experienced educators to apply for the position of Economics Teacher. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong academic background in Economics and proven experience teaching A-Level students.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging A-Level Economics lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate students’ academic performance through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Prepare students for A-Level and other external examinations by providing effective academic guidance.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, progress, and performance.
- Provide academic support and mentoring to students where necessary.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, school events, and other professional development activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding students’ progress.
- Carry out other teaching and administrative duties as assigned by the school.
Requirements
- A first degree in Economics or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience teaching A-Level Economics.
- Applicants must reside within the Ajah axis of Lagos.
