Job Summary
The Store Inventory Officer will be responsible for all operations related to inventory management, ensuring accurate stock records, proper storage and efficient warehouse operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain records of receipts and items issued from the warehouse to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Handle the stores’ data centre and build and maintain an inventory material database (warehouse material list).
- Supervise the offloading process and subsequent arrangement of materials and consignments to ensure safe custody, easy access and identification.
- Reconcile physical stock with stock recorded in the system.
- Undertake stock-taking activities and confirm periodic stock levels by working closely with designated staff.
- Monitor inventory levels to ascertain reorder levels.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures required in the warehouse.
- Provide administrative assistance to the department as required.
- Generate required weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual reports.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience
- Minimum of a BSc or HND in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a numerate discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of automated store inventory management.

HR Operations & Policy Management
- Ensure HR policies, procedures and employee handbooks are readily accessible across the organisation and provide clarification to employees and managers as required.
- Oversee the consistent implementation of HR operational policies across all divisions and locations.

Education and Work Experience

- Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM or HRCI is required.
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial HR Operations or HR Generalist leadership role, preferably within the power, energy or industrial sector.
